Top 5 iOS Navigation and Maps Apps in Panama: Q2 2021 Performance

In the second quarter of 2021, the top navigation and maps apps on iOS in Panama demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, as per data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps consistently maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 1.1K and 1.4K. The app saw a steady increase in weekly active users, reaching around 93.6K by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at over 1.5K and dropping to just under 940 by the end of the quarter. However, active users showed a positive trend, climbing to approximately 74.9K in the final week of June.

Google Earth saw a mix of ups and downs in downloads, peaking at 322 in mid-April. The app's active users started at around 1.6K, increased to 2K in mid-April, and rounded off at nearly 1.9K by the end of June.

Map for Instagram had a significant drop in weekly downloads from 208 in early April to single digits by the end of the quarter. Revenue showed a small uptick, with a peak of $11 in early June.

Lastly, Google Street View maintained low download numbers, with a brief spike to 46 in mid-June.
